My son is preparing for his year 6 SATS and has struggled initially to achieve a mark over 15 out of 40.

Some friends had mentioned Raise Tuition and tutors as being very good at private tutoring. Since my son has been tutoring with Alison Welch on a Monday night he has jumped up to scoring 35 out of 40 in his practice SATS papers. We are all extremely happy with the progress he is making.

The tutor sessions are relaxed, fun, stress free and Alison is amazing. She makes the students feel really at ease and even lets them bring treats to share… it’s the small things sometimes.

When my daughter started a new school earlier this year she struggled with some of the work which really knocked her confidence, after attending Raise this is no longer an issue, Alison and Emma are both amazing, they focus on the areas they need and make it fun! My daughter absolutely loves going and looks forward to it every week. Can’t recommend them enough!

I have had a number of tutors over the ears for my son and we simply haven’t qot anywhere. Every tutor or company I have tried in the past has had a “one size fits all” approach. This approach simply doesn’t work
when vou have a child with additional needs with untapped potential.

Raise Tuition has been a bit of a game changer for myself and mv son. They go above and beyond the standard approaches because the genuinelv care and want to mark a difference.

My daughter is extremely shy about starting new things and meeting new people. Alison and Emma went above and beyond to ensure she felt comfortable even before she started her sessions!

Hannah looks forward to going every week and is enjoying learning. We have seen such a difference in her confidence and in recent tests done at school she has improved massively in both maths and English, we can’t thank Raise Tuition enough.

Both my children, ages 7 and 10 go to Raise Tuition once a week. Since starting a couple of months ago I have seen such a big improvement in both my children and their confidence have come on leaps and bounds. The teachers Alison and Emma are absolutely fantastic and I can’t thank them enough for their excellent work they are doing.

Our daughter has been working with Raise Tuition to close the gaps in her learning. Emma quickly carried out an assessment and identified the priorities to work on. 

Each week, a challenging session is delivered, which is pitched at the perfect level. The support and nurture is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. 

Our daughter is now filled with confidence in her English and maths, whereas previously she was unsure and disengaged. Mum has worked in local schools for many years and knows lots of great teachers, however she wouldn’t want anyone else to deliver extra tuition…. we both can’t recommend Raise Tuition enough.
